I reran the query of all routes in the online guide with greater than 4.5 out of 5 stars according to users voting on the routes. This time I removed all routes with fewer than 3 votes.

The power of the route database blows my mind. Will be interesting to see how things progress with more user input. It would be cool at some point in time to distill it down into a redriverclimbing.com classics t-shirt.

After reading & responding to this post, I went through and inputed my opinion (both stars & rating) for routes that I have done. There seems to be considerable disparity between the amount of spray and the amount of opinions entered on any particular route. It also seems that maybee some people are expressing their opinion on rating only when they disagree with the posted rating. To be fair, people who agree with the posted rating need to enter their opinion also.

Like I said, I think that people may generally be giving their opinion only if they disagree with the present rating/stars. For example, 82 users have A.W.O.L. on their spray list but only 18 votes on the stars and no opinion yet on the rating. Also, I counted that over 35 users have lead 100+ routes, so the experience is definitely out there. Come on people, go through your spray list and vote. It really doesn't take that much time.
