Site Outage
Site Outage
Hey everyone,
Sorry for the site being down for a large part of the day. I didn't even know it was down until I received an email from Sandy (thanks Sandy). Otherwise I would've fixed it a bit sooner.
I'm not sure of the exact cause but I do know that a process on the machine consumed all available memory. I think my Linux box is turning into a Windows box.

Ahh come on now, don't you know this site is for decreasing productivity in the work place. That and PWIing at night.young'n climber wrote:Its like a routine in every climbers life, for me, i come home from school and go on this site.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.
this would be GREAT! The database is HUGE and takes hours for me to back up. If you try to read the forum when I am backing it up, it is really slow, so deleting messages in your sent and in boxes that you don't need would really be helpful.ynot wrote:Would it help save space if people cleaned out the PM mailbox?
