"THE" call out

Just browsing the site and I've noticed a lot of people just talking about all the same old routes. Everyone also seems to be sending everything thats hard as well. So when the SR opens back up maybe we can see what everyone is really made of......... For instance, Im willing to bet that a lot of these self proclaimed hard men can't even come close to sending this route at SC called "Gecko Circus". But of course that would mean at least one of them would have to actually step up and get on it.
No response would only prove my assumptions are correct.

I think you see everyone talking about the same routes for two reasons: 1. there seems to be a lack of motivation to put up new sport routes (until the SR is fully available), and people are not willing to waste a full day searching out a new "super secret" crag only to find out that they have time for one pitch before they have to start the hike back. if you only have a weekend to climb, why not get as many routes as you can?

You should check out all the work being done in Muir --> muirvalley.com.

Yeah, but I think the hardest stuff bolted there so far is in the 12's.
Not that I can climb them anyway.

Not true. Hancock et al. has put up quite a range of options.

The hardest route I know of was set by TBone, I think he called it a high 12. Of course they may have set more this past weekend. Lots of good routes in the upper 10's and 11's have been set though, plus Jared has plans to bolt a face he found that has a few easier (5.8-5.9?) routes.
