Okay guys, I believe that the mods are getting a bit zealous. Sure we all got out of hand but this last rash of tossing obvious trolls and shit is just plain wrong. There's suddenly too much structure and I think that they are power hungry. So, at the risk of being banned myself, which I'm totally okay with, I am taking one for the team and suggesting that they straighten the fuck up and relax. So here's my question...who gets benched first?

Why don't you go create your own BBS, Spragwa. Then YOU can challenge the disgression of one of the folks that's helping you maintain your site---FOR FREE AND ON THEIR OWN TIME---.

hmmm, well as one being "attacked" (but not taking it personally) let me just say that there is an awful lot that has gone on with that particular individual to which you are not privy. Yeah, the troll in question today was harmless, but the troller has pulled enough crap on this forum and it's getting old. I tried to move the thread and accidentally deleted it, by the way. I'm only telling you so that Wes doesn't take additional heat (I see he's winning the poll right now).

Just to be clear, though, we aren't accepting input on how this forum is run. You can't please everyone, and there's always someone inclined to bitch. Believe it or not, there are quite a few people who think this board is far too loosely moderated. We've seen from day one on this BBS that it just can't be open for debate, so deal with it.

I don't mind that you don't agree with me, spragwa. In fact, I am glad that there are people who speak up for what they think is right. So many things in life are about judgement, and not everyone agrees with everything. That is cool. So, love me, warts and all. Or kiss my ass. Either one works for me.

Anyone remember kywilderness? How bout climbkentucky? The fact that Ray setup some good moderators and let others make the daily decisions speaks to his wisdom in the matter. I think most of the people that have been around for a while and watched boards crash because the lusers needed to be babysat understand the need for a little heavy handedness. I've seen a shit ton of moderators on a crapload of message boards and these people do a great job.

I for one am really fucking tired of having to wade through 30 posts from two dumbasses going back and forth to get to a post that may be interesting. For fucks sake, if you can say it with email, say it with email. Diarrhea of the mouth has become an epidmic around here lately so I for one can appreciate a little more smackdown.

I totally agree, Charlie. Personally, there are days when I hardly even read the board because there's so much crap to wade through. Then something happens...like Larry Day posting...and I get all fluffy feeling inside and feel good again.

The average intelligence age just keeps sinking. This thread just proves it. Soon I am going to quit this place like Jeff. I am tired of reading garbage from idiots who never learn and act like spoiled little kids.Wake up and smell the coffee.
