Hidden Arch

Hey,
I was on a rest day last week and walked out to see Hidden Arch
what I didn't expect to see was an entire "unclimbed" crag right next to the tiny but cool arch. There was a very clean splitter finger crack that looked like it had chalk on it but I wasn't sure. Anyone done it, looked hard 5.11 or so.

ah come on-- no -one?
there's a whole crag back there
I'm assuming climbing isn't allowed near hidden arch?

Is this hidden arch? This little arch is only about a few feet tall, I can't remember exactly, but you pass it on your left as you go up a steep-ish trail to the top of about a 60 foot cliff.

Yeah that's it (kind of a romantic arch for 2, maybe)
now from where that photo was taken, behind you
about 100 feet is a very nice crag with 3-4 good looking
sport and trad routes.
The finger crack was probably the most notable feature
with a really nice sport wall to the right of it.
Anyway, just curious if anyone had climbed the trad stuff
there as there were no bolts on any of the faces

I remember checking out and sitting on that crag looking for evidence of climbing and finding none at all (last October). The arch isn't on that same rock, so I wouldn't think it would be prohibited, except for the fact that new routes have to be approved by the FS.

Geezer, FYI, this is only about a mile from the Koomer Ridge trail head.

I think you'll have just discovered Johnny's "super secret stealth crag". Change your phone numbers and join the witness protection program.

Amen to more rock and to those who don't spray to
everyone. I must say it was a very
nearly the nicest un********* crags that
I have seen for awhile. My motives were to
merely express an awe for the arm blasting oxide pockets
accented with un******* *****!
