I was wondering of those people who have gotten out to the Red recently, did your training through the winter pay off, or was it a waste of time?

Sure! I think I can bump my numbers after holding down the couch and munching Cheezits all winter.

Hate to spray, but you asked......I, yeah me, made it up a 10b sport two weeks ago. Hung some, trees were on, but made it up. I guess I've gotten stronger. I love to climb!

I think that it has made me stronger and my lead head has improved 100%. Of course I was climbing this winter with a SUPER motivated and fantastic chica! That helped a lot. It's all about up or off for me now.

Hell yeah training has paid off for me....I haven't been outside to really test it yet, at least I can tell a pretty big difference in my bouldering. I figure on getting a few more HIT sessions in this year too, so hopefully I am not through getting stronger yet.

My power has gotten better for sure, but my endurance is down just from not getting on long routes. A few days on the rock and that will be back in check. so yes...my training has paid off over all.
