In the latest R&I.
The brown 1.5.
Lot #2G etched in the side.
Look for a crack near the pin housing that connects the sling to the cam.
If you have one of these, contact Camp. They will tell you what to do.

Mine don't have any numbers or letters etched into them . :? Oh well, I never place that one anyway.

Thanks Jeff. I bought three this summer and one is the brown. They all have a real faint 2G on the sides. Another season of use and this probably would have been totally scratched off.

Someone posted about that problem a while back.A regular inspection of all of them would be prudent. I didnt know about the 2g. Is it just printed? Mine are 3 years old and well used.

My R&I is in the van at work but the artical is in the back with the classifieds in red print.
It says "2G is etched" on the side.

Good find on a contact Lucinda.
I looked around on the web and couldn't find anything.
I don't think my phone will dial a number like that though  .

Is the brown one the next one bigger than the blue?
