ski

Post by vic »

Any one interested in skiing this winter?
Some of my favorite places to date include:
Timberline (6 hours)
Perfect North (one hour)
Paoli Peak (one hour)

Most of the time, I'll ski alpine (downhill), however, with each visit I also manage to do a little bit of alpine touring with skins, pack etc... I end up camping in the snow to save some money and in order to have more flexibility.

Any interests?
! Enough with all that detestation ALREADY !

I've been on a snowboard once, never on skis, but want to get out and learn anyway. Alpine or X-country is fine with me.

Where is the place an hour north of Columbus? I've been up by Lake Michigan, but that sounds closer.
