Lower Small Wall - 5.1 Pogue's Path

We climbed a few lines at Lower Small Wall yesterday and were looking to add 5.1 Pogue's Path as a fun 'adventure route.' We were unable to find it, and I'd appreciate some insight from someone who has climbed it. From the base of the cliff, at the trail level, just a few feet right of the short crack start of Double Caves Crack, we climbed an easy crack (a short, featured dihedral) up ~10' to a ledge, moved right as the ledge angled up and ended after approx 40' at a short offwidth. This did not seem to match the guidebook description or the online comments. We were not able to see any apparent link to P2 either before or above the offwidth.
The online guidebook reads, "Walk 100 feet left of the Spider Squat or a few feet right of Double Caves Crack until you see a short crack which leads up to a 10ft ledge on the right. Head right along the ledge and up a stubby flake with a left-angling jamcrack. Continue up easier ground to the large ledge on the right. Skirt left along the ledge past a small pool of water to a short crack or face which leads to another ledge. Scramble to the top."
The one, online user comment includes, "go right around obvious chimney for the true second pitch."
I'd appreciate any insights. Thanks.
