A few questions on parking and roads...

1. What's the story with parking at the top of Motherlode Hill? It looks like a parking lot has sprung up... Is it ok to park there?
2. What's the road like going to the Gold Coast/Darkside portion of the PMRP? 4wd/Awd recommended?
3. How are the Miller Fork road conditions recently? Is the steep portion still rutted?

That land is owned by Gary King. He also owns Bald Rock Cabins (http://www.baldrockcabins.com) which are located on the left just before the parking lot. As a courtesy to climbers he is currently allowing parking in that lot. That said we need to respect his land and use common sense when parking.
