I realize this is the wrong place to post this but didn't know where to go... Just curious how bad, or not, the ticks are this season. thanks, eh.

Got my dog on some tick guard meds and she hasn't gotten any, which amazes me. I've found 3-4 on myself this year, about the same with my climbing partners.

I think the trick is to drink lots of beer the night before. Then you sweat it out and the ticks don't like you. Not sure if it works for dogs though.

Did you free base it, or just spray in mouth forever?

Haven't had a tick since I applied Permethrin to my outfits. Apply a liberal amount to your shoes and pants and shirt and let dry for 24 hours. Good for mosquitoes too.

On a serious note, I will agree with Dr. Rockso. Permitherin works fantastic and also lasts through several loads of laundry so it lasts a while.
