The cold SUCKS Ballz

Post by Wes »

I had forgoten just how much I really, really hate the cold. I have no idea how I ever climbed ice. Must have been crazy for sure. I love climbing when it is colder, but sunny. But, just having to be out and about sucks big time.

I cannot wait to be bouldering in the sun at the tanks this time next week. :D :D :D :!: :!: :!:

You're getting soft in your old age, Wes. :P

On the other hand, I've never been a fan of being cold. I hope it warms up for the weekend! I'm glad I'm stocked up on chemical handwarmers.

HAVE A GREAT TRIP TO THE TANKS! I'll see you in a month!!

I am with you all the way on this one Wes. I absolutely can't stand it when it's all cold and gray out. It messes with my psyche and causes me to have a bad day on the rock. When it's chilly and sunny out is a different story.....aaahhhh Solar Collector, Buckeye Buttress, Drive By....

I'm really hoping for sun and relatively warm weather this weekend... but you know what, either way, it's gonna feel so good to be back at the Red!!!

By the way, Sandy, are you driving out to Hueco or what? If that wuss Loren wimps out due to cold weather and you wouldn't mind a tag-along... (or two, if I can convince him to come along...) Though I'm really really psyched about T-Wall, so I really really hope the weather's compliant...

I'm flying, but if you two crazy kids get a wild hare, meet me out there! There will be at least a few RRG climbers out there and it promises to be a blast.

I wish I could go somewhere warm to climb this winter. I am going to Florida...but no climbing there.

I'll just be at the Red whenever possible.

Wes, Sandy, and everyone else going to Hueco: have fun climbing in the sun!

And you too Merrick: have fun in Portrero and wherever else you go!

Sarah
You can head south with charlie, amy and I . You will have to put away your harness and get ready to pebble wrestle. It makes for fun weekends when its to cold up this way. I will let you know when we are rolling out.

That would be great! I can probably manage to get away on some weekends.
