clean bill of health!

For all of you who were sending me get well wishes not so long ago 
, I wanted to let you know I went to see my surgeon today, and the surgery they did 6wks ago on my back is going better than could have been expected. The doctor told me I had bone growing in where they put in the metal rods as soon as 3wks after my surgery. My doc was really impressed and said I would have my brace off as a christmas present 
, and would have a clean bill of health to do ANYTHING I want a month or two after that...so I may see you all soon, at least for a good hike. and, get this...my doc starts telling me about the time he climbed denali, and how much he enjoys ice climbing...who would have thought!
