Yellowstone will be so cool without those damn snowmobiles. I'm all for scrub and brush removal too, but let's remove the timber giveaways that are backdoored into the bills. In my opinion, atv's don't warrant access merely because we can make them and they are fun. Make them less destructive(and quieter). If tanks became the rage would you expect them to run our streets without objection? Public land, so you think you are owed it's use as you see fit? I think we have to show we can use it well. Damn, I pick my boots for the day by whether the tread is not too agressive for the trails I plan to hike. Reponsible --- sounds so Fair and Balanced

Thank you for posting that, I'd never heard of the group. Most likely I'd have browsed right past to the next thread but the Healthy Forest Restoration Act of 2003 snagged me being a suspicios little shit. I guess Healthy and 2003 seemed odd. Isn't it ironic to espouse forest health concerns on one front and be in bed with 4-wheeler,jeep,horses, and dirt bikes on the other?

ok , I swear I'll shut up now. peace
