Hey Crank.
Try a search on here for warriors way, it was discussed alot after he released it.
Everyone I know who has taken his course and/or read his book has gained from it.
I took his course a couple of years ago and have the book. It has helped my climbing alot.

I have heard nothing but good things about his new book and his course. Its made a noticeable difference on the people that I know that have read the book or took the course.

I read it and it helped, and didn't. I read the book once. So I had a taste of the concepts but not a grasp. As Jeff (or someone, but I think it was Jeff) said, you really need to absorb the info. Just reading it and feeling all warm inside about it won't help. You'd really need to embrace the attitude and believe in it wholeheartedly. But the approach really works.
I've been reading articles about Arno's philospohy in the mags for years and always thought he was on to something.

I agree with WT and others above: I took a one day class with Arno and am reading his book. I was able to immediately apply what I learned this past weekend climbing at my "edge". But it is a path that you walk and I continue to learn.

It's a little hard to get your brain around his concepts when you are old and cynical, but his methods are tried and proven.

yeah, I read it twice, and it came off more like psycho babble fluff than real help. I liked "Performance Rock Climbing" better.
his thoughts are really more for living your life than they are particular to climbing

I took his course and it helped be immensely. I can't say enough good things. I haven't read the entire book yet but what I've read so far I've really enjoyed. The class, however, was the best $200 I ever spent.
