Greetings Americans,
I'm coming down to the RRG early november to do some climbing and visit some distilleries. Having a really hard time finding general travel information like: where I should fly into, if I can get a bus easily or if I should just rent a car, what town is closest to the RRG, where I should stay once I get there, etc. Is there a resource online that answers these questions that I'm missing? Please help. SOS.

If you're looking for sport partners between nov. 6-20~, give me a shout!

Fly into Cincinnati (2hrs), Louisville (2 hours) or Lexington (1hr) and rent a car especially if you want to check out distilleries, not much bus service or public transportation in that part of the country. The closest "town" would be Stanton which is like 15 minutes from the Red River Gorge and has a grocery store. Miguel's will be the best place to stay if you are looking for climbers, otherwise Land of the Arches and Lago Lindas are also popular campgrounds. Lots of your questions are easily answered using Google or buying the guidebook and reading the info section. Have fun!

My favorite distilleries are Buffalo Trace, Woodford, and Makers Mark. Oh and yeah what he said /\/\
