Anyone currently at the Red or close nearby? How bad was the snow yesterday/this morning? Do you think it is going to be climbable by Saturday?

There's about a foot of snow on the ground at Miguel's and it rained for 12+ hours before that. It's also still snowing a bit. I'm not sure how climbable it will be by Saturday.

The conditions are prime! For drunk sledding.

Ugh! Thanks, I guess. Definitely doesn't sound like great conditions overall, but maybe a few sunny routes here and there... Where does optimism end, and craziness begin?katiejoanna wrote:There's about a foot of snow on the ground at Miguel's and it rained for 12+ hours before that. It's also still snowing a bit. I know some crazy people who plan on climbing tomorrow (Friday). I guess I'll wait to hear of their experience, before deciding.
