Pebble Beach

Looking at checking out pebble beach this weekend if it's sunny, so I wanted to get some feedback from those with personal experience.

- Is the wall sunny? It's listed as having sun all day on the site. True?
- Will there be seepage from snow melt?
- Will the roads be open and realistically passable?

Your favorite routes?

The gate was closed when I went by this afternoon.

Gate will probably be closed.

Wall does get sun, but there's a good chance a lot will be wet at PB

What are the best alternatives for sunny trad that will be accessible?

Fortress, Wall of Denial, Eagle Point Buttress, The Stadium, the Gold Coast, and portions of Long Wall. What grades are you looking for?

Wall of Denial is cool but with all the snow melting the river will probably be up and the trail might be under water.

Thanks for all the info guys. Looking for all trad grades up to 10-. 11- sport.

I've been to WoD - it was fun but probably won't return. I still have plenty to climb at fortress. Pebble Beach, Muscle Beach, and Long Wall would be my preferences. I am also considering Emerald City for the nice mix of sunny sport and trad.

What specific roads and gates do I need to look out for being potentially closed in the forest? Which are maintained and not maintained in general? I've heard some of the hills in PMRP have been icy lately too. Any firsthand knowledge?
