Hi everyone. I'm super psyched at being in the Red for my first time from mid November to mid December, and wanted to ask if conditions are still generally good at this time? By good I mean cold and dry and is Miguel's still open for camping? Thanks!

Yep generally cold and dry although it tends to rain at least once a week. Check an almanac for average daytime highs/lows.
Miguels restaurant closes thanksgiving weekend but the campground is open year round. Bathrooms and water are left on as well.

Some years late November on just gets to be too cold. If you're lucky, you'll find some warm sunny crags. If you're less lucky, you'll find giant icicles dripping everywhere, snow falling while you climb, and cloud cover. If you don't have the sun exposure things tend to get miserable in a hurry. Good luck, and hopefully you get more climbing in than I did the last time we tried the Red that late.

The snow and ice doesn't usually come around until well after the first of the year. Sun is the key.
