August 10 is Johnny & Alex Trail day. If you've never been, it's probably the best event of the year. If you've been, you already know this. Spend 1/2 a day building trails. Get a FREE T-SHIRT. Lunch from Miguel's. Dinner from Rockhouse. Enjoy the 23-String Band (the one and only!). Slip and slide. Frisbee. We have trails planned to open NEW CRAGS in Flat Hollow, Miller Fork, and we're also planning to show some love to the trails we've been using to death (such as overhauling Purgatory!)

We have 1 major problem. We need literally HUNDREDS of people to do all this. So far only about 20 have signed up.

The sign in page is slightly different this year. Don't let that stop you. This year pick a trail leader and sign your name. If you know the leaders, pick your favorite If you don't know anyone, I can vouch that they are all awesome people. If you want to be on a team with your friends, just pick a team that doesn't have a lot of people and just tell your friends to sign up on the same team.

We are giving a free cotton t-shirt to each person that signs up - but I have to turn in the order on July 26 so I need to know your size before then. This year you can also upgrade to a poly-pro t-shirt (the kind you get for a marathon) for a small additional fee. You can sign up after July 26, but I cannot guarantee you a shirt.

I signed up so krampus has 1/2 day of bossing me around, but then it's back to me running the show. My g/f signed up under Carrie's group. No way I am going to expose her to krampus, caribe, and myself for even a half day.

good call on the gf, I'll advise Lauren similarly. All I know is our crew will build the most trail, climb the most pitches, and still make it for a dip in the lake before dinner begins

Pick any team leader and sign your name. If you want to work with your friends, pick a team that has fewer people on it and have them sign up on the same team. Our leaders are all great people - even Krampus (aka Joel)

Thank you to the 50 people that have signed up so far - we only need at least 100 more to accomplish miracles on our undeveloped property - Miller Fork - and open new climbs.
