Three new Muir Valley Restrooms Open!

All three new Muir Valley restrooms were opened today for "business." These will significantly reduce human impact on the environment here in the Valley. They are located at the Great Wall/Solarium trailhead; near the bridge to Indy Wall, Sanctuary, Johnny's Wall, Tectonics; and at the Practice Wall/Bruise Brothers/Sunnyside trailheads.
A HUGE thank you to Anne Altor, project leader, Roger Vandamme, Paul Shallabarger, Skip Wolfe, Ed, LaPlant and his company - Bone Dry Masonry, the Access Fund, and the American Alpine Club who helped make these new facilities possible.
And deep appreciation to the members of the Friends of Muir Valley organization with their high regard for responsible stewardship of the land and preservation of the natural beauty of this special place who conceived this project and saw it through to fruition.
