Birthday party
Birthday party
Hello, I am looking for a nice climbing location in the gorge to host my daughter's birthday party. The age group would be mostly 9 and 10 year olds and only a few of them have been climbing before at Vertical Adventures. I look forward to your suggestions.
Re: Birthday party
Either the Muir Valley pavilion, or if you prefer the PMRP, perhaps next to the oil derrick on the side of the road up into Coal Bank.

It's too bad the Teahouse got burned down.
Re: Birthday party
don't underestimate the joy of using a bb gun from the woods to make civilization safe against the maraudering hordes at Sore Heel. a kid's sense of justice needs this encouragement.

Re: Birthday party
You could give them some shovels and get them to fix all that f'd up loose *&@#* gravel on the hills into Sore Heel and Coal Bank.
Re: Birthday party
Thanks for the suggestions. Someone told me there's a clown that drives a 4-wheeler around Muir Valley. Does anyone know if he is available to rent?
Re: Birthday party
hahaha, you're a good sport. What about the Lee County rec center for some bowlin'? Kentucky Reptile Zoo for snake handlin?
Re: Birthday party
But its so good that it was re-built and better than before! Be sure not to miss the two bolts that are spaced perfectly apart for a hammock on the back right side.dustonian wrote:It's too bad the Teahouse got burned down.
