There are some great quotes in this article...one of my favorites:

I all seriousness, accidents would be minimized by palcing auto-belays and permanent boulder pads at the crags. Then climbing would be open to everyone and the sport would become really huge - like it should be. Everyone should climb - it's the American way after all.
