Dedra, from the Beattyville Tourism Board, designed these pamphlets for climbers visiting the Red.

If you don't read all the fine print - a few things to be aware of:
On your rest day - you can go bowling. If the center is closed and you have a group you can call and they'll open up just for you!!! They also have a gym for $3/day or $15/month!
There are several tow-truck drivers listed. While we are currently working with the oil companies to get the roads in better conditions after all this rain, it might be a good idea to plug one of their numbers in their phone. When we got stuck Jeeping one of Gary King's Towing employees pulled us out. He said they're willing to go down the Lode hill (not all of them are).
There's also a splash park for the summer
And for long-term climbers, there's a place that you can drop off your laundry and pick it up after you're done climbing
And a fruit stand to get good produce
