hey hey

After 6 years of serving on the Board of Directors, Paul Vidal and Rick Bost must vacate their seat on the BOD in May 2013 (RRGCC's got term limits).

In preparation, the coalition is actively seeking great volunteers to serve on the Board of Directors and is now accepting applications. We need help in many areas however experience in any of the following is a plus.

1. Finance / Accounting / Marketing
2. Land / Trail planning, development, and management techniques
3. Volunteer coordinator
4. Grant application and management
5. Legal (litigation, real-estate)
6. Government interface
7. GIS and mapping

Computer skills are a must (word processors, spreadsheets, as well as the Interweb).

Benefits include
1. 4~6 meetings a year at Torrent Falls, about the same number of phone / video meetings
2. Planning and participation of major events of the year. Rocktoberfest and Johnny and Alex Trail day
3. Many opportunities to make a positive impact at your favorite climbing area the Red River Gorge
4. An opportunity to help shape the direction of the best local climbing organization, the RRGCC

This is a tough job, but the I promise it will be entertaining.

If your are interested apply today at

http://rrgcc.org/volunteer-leadership-application/

New member elections will be in May, so don't delay. Application should be submitted by April 8

I vote for amending the by laws for indefinite re-election. Anyone that is foolish enough to suffer through six years of serving would certainly be game for life terms. ;)

You=DUM (and yes it is spelled that way on purpose)
