For all the steep crack fetishist lurking in the shadows - how about a RRG roof crack ticklist? I didnt see list in the old forums and these types of things seem to be the bread and butter of other couch spray sites. This exercise is of course not acturally for the sake of climbing, but purely for the sake of wistful wannabe spray. These first few float to mind, but what else can yall drag from the depths of obscurity?
Arachnid
The Underling
Burden of Dreams
Spice of Life
When Doves Cry + its ugly step brothers
Thunder Chicken
Dreamthiever
Country Lovin
And ....
Roof Crack Ticklist.
Re: Roof Crack Ticklist.
better red than dead
in a pinch (roof dihedral)
the roof cracks at cloudsplitter and clearcut wall
mr. get it on jones (more like 60-75 degrees than true "roof")
roof above 12-step program (has not been freed)
crouching tiger and hidden dragon start with roofs I think?

Boogered! I've been wanting to check it out for plenty of years now. If you get to it before me, let me know what you think! It looks/sounds awesome. If it weren't for all those distracting sport routes...

I was eyeballing that in the guidebook a few weeks ago, if you ever need a partner let me know, I would love to try it.Yasmeen wrote:Boogered! How you compare may not be as important as to whom you are compared
Re: Roof Crack Ticklist.
Is the Battlement roofy enough? Maybe to bust into the roof business slowly... Close Encounters... Jungle Beat...
No chalkbag since 1995.
Re: Roof Crack Ticklist.
actually, not to toot my own horn (so to speak), but Strongyloides out at Choco is pretty damn roofy and fun too... if you're into that kinda thing. Also the crux on Next Day Air is a cool roof move lock-off to a slammer fingerlock, but I wouldn't really call it a roof crack, per se.
