Wilson is always right. All I care about is taking down some of the 21 ropes I currently have hanging all over creation. Real life sucks.

Uh, oh. "According to senior diplomatic sources, the US State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, and the embassy in Cairo, that American missions may be targeted, but no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert and "lockdown", under which movement is severely restricted." http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world ... 35797.html
Of course you won't be reading this in the U.S. press. Most of our media outlets feel like there's good reason you shouldn't know these things.

Our efforts did not turn these people into human beings. The people demonstrating are simply people who have lost friend.

clearly the collective rockclimbing "us" do fuck all to promote global harmony. be that what it may, i think it far more important to highlight the above.caribe wrote:Our efforts did not turn these people into human beings.
even the libertarian nationalist dullards on this board should be able to recognize "our" Middle Eastern presence in the last 30 years hardly qualifies as a mission of peace, and that sustained military conflict has precious little to do with breeding non-violence and tolerance in the region.
to somehow link those people's humanism to our war machine is beyond ignorant.
haunted.
