climbing memes
Re: climbing memes
What is with all this underhanded hammock support? Doesn't it just chap your ass when people come down on their weekend and try to have a relaxing time at the red. Climbing should be kept to a strict schedule that allows for no down time between pitches and minimal time to socialize. In fact it should be much like the daily grind of your work week. How dare these fun seekers set their hammocks up within my line of site and relax, fucking my mental game all up. Lazy chuffers.
Re: climbing memes

Re: climbing memes
Entitlement is what gets crags closed. Don't act surprised when people get protective of the ones that are left....kafish2 wrote:What is with all this underhanded hammock support? Re: climbing memes
So... hammocks = "entitlement"? That seems weird. Personally, I'm a lot more irritated by all the cigarette butts, athletic tape, energy bar wrappers, water bottles, shit piles, and toilet paper at popular crags. Cleaning them up got old a few years back.
Re: climbing memes
I'd take hammocks over trash any day. The worst that can come from a hammocks is that people leave behind the cord they used to tie it up, or the whole hammock. Either way, I see it as a win situation.
Re: climbing memes
Exactly. It seems like on the list of things others do at the crag that actually impacts me, hammocks sit pretty low however get a large amount of press on the site. I am just thinking if you are going to bitch about things pick something that actually matters. If you are one of the people who thinks hammocks are the devil surely you can recognize there are bigger more pressing issues. Move on with the hammock talk.dustonian wrote:So... hammocks = "entitlement"? That seems weird.
