Rebolt the RED day

Post by CLIMBTRAD »

I am trying to put together a team to for a day of rebolting.

We have a ton of routes out their that need your love!!

What i am looking for is about 10 to 20 climbers to team up and knock some routes out.. I think we could do 5 to 10 routes in one day.. maybe more maybe less, depends on if we have to hand bang..

We have 2 really good trail days that happen every year, and this is great.. But it is time we take care of what brings us here, the BOLTS Lets face it, if all those bolts were not here most of us would not be here either!!

Team Suck has stepped up and is on board for the bolts, big thanks to Blake.. I have a line on some free glue. so im not asking for your money just your time.. well we do need some bits and glue tips but we can get them cheap..

We do need a few that do know how to bolt, and could let there drill be used for a day of rebolting instead of FAing..

I have 2 hand drills and a Bocsh so the more drills the more routes we can get done.. Please lets make this happen.. i would love to see this go on like our trail days, and maybe more than once a year..

As soon as i get enough on board i will set a date and we can get this work done.. i have a huge list of routes that need work i will get it posted soon..

Thanks Patrick Miller

To make this clear... we need people that know how to bolt.. i will not put a newbie to bolting ,on a classic route.
but there may be room for those who do not know how to bolt.. on the ground and great way to see what goes on when a route gets bolted.. or you could donate to team suck or sponser a route.. big thanks to those who have already stepped up..
and sorry this is not a learn to bolt session

Any chance that you plan to do this later in the summer/fall again? I just had my second son a week ago and I couldn't make it to the Red that soon. I wouldn't want to leave my wife at home while she is still not completely healed. I have a drill and even if we are hanging and banging some of the stuff I would still love to help.

I'm in if I don't have to work. I know how to bolt, but I don't have a drill.
