He's totally guilty, he shot the kid. I don' t think that is up for debate. The question the jury has to decide is this: Is shooting a kid who has no weapon and weighs much less than you an acceptable level of "self defense"? especially if you go picking the fight which it sounds like he did. Will the law cover his ass?

maybe a more interesting question is he related to Bob Dylan?

2nd degree murder? No They will never get a conviction on that, which is why I think they inflated the charges. Manslaughter would have more likely resulted in a guilty verdict.
