The directions on the canister of protein powder I have says to use it within 20 mins of a workout. I was wondering, if I have a soccer game tonite at 6:00 pm and then plan on going to the climbing gym afterward (it takes me about 35 to 45 mins to get there). Should I drink the protein mix after my game AND on my way home from the climbing gym OR should I just drink the mix after the climbing gym?

Wouldn't hurt to do both. If you are stuck with one protein serving I would think it's better to do after climbing.

1. Play soccer. Don't forget to stretch beforehand.
2. Chug protein powder (yum) at half time.
3. Finish the second half with the game-winning goal (thanks to the protein powder--yum).
4. Head to the gym.
5. Stop at Wendy's on the way. Order three triple cheeseburgers. Bacon.
6. Eat all three.
7. There you go. The taste of protein powder should be gone now.
