It seems as though I have a nose for finding gear left by earlier climbers. I generally like to get to the crag early and have found all sorts of things left behind from the day before.

Yesterday, I was at the Arena around The Audition and found some pro kicked up under the brush. Name it and claim it. Just PM me and if it's yours, we can figure out how to get it back to you.

Is there a process in place for getting found junk back to their owners?

I usually give it away.If you don't know whose it is.Just give it to a needy climber.That way it won't look like you are proffiting from someones misfortune.Give it to the RRGCC gear sale.

Give it to Yasmeen. I owe her some stoppers, but I'm too damned lazy to drop them off at Miguels.

GWG, you can always put a sign up on the bulletin board at Miguel's. If no one ID's and claims the found gear, I would be very grateful if you would please consider donating it to the RRGCC Gear Sale. I am about to post an update on that.

I think it's great of you to not immediately consider what you found to be 'booty.' When I left my climbing shoes at Phantasia, that was my biggest fear. Some kind soul left them at Miguel's for me and I am extremely grateful. Most climbers cannot afford to lose gear!

Yeah,I wish you guys would quit losing gear.I got in so much trouble because someone left they"re F-ING Grigri at the crag! Please be considerate of other people if you can't be considerate of your own gear.It may not matter to you that you are leaving that #2 bd camelot at the crag because you bought it with financial aid money!Be considerate of me! When I find your stupid gear I have to spend MY TIME to try and track your DUMDASS down!!!!!

Maybe I should put that cam someplace where you won't forget it!!!!!

if anyone finds gear marked with black and green tape, it's mine. Chances are really good of that happening.
