Climbingrocks and myself were sitting beneath and admiring the megaline in the cave near Bronaugh Wall the other day. It is an impressive monster of a climb unlike anything I’ve seen in person, but that really isn’t saying too much. Nonetheless, it looked like “Pure Imagination” might be a good warm-up for it. I know videos with professional climbers don’t always do justice to just how hard a climb may be or how daunting they may actually appear in person, but we couldn’t help but think that we just might be sitting beneath a route that may be harder than any established climb in the world. It was cool, and it will be cool as hell to see the day come when somebody can actually climb it.

So, for anyone in the know, is that thing reportedly going to be harder than 5.15b or is that just what a typical, badass pumpfest of a 5.15a/b looks like? Is @@@ working it (appeared so with chalk on it)? Have any other mutants or mortals been allowed the privilege of touching it? Any other interesting info that might be cool to share? If not, whatev, that is still the baddest-ass looking climb that I have ever seen.

@@@ was working it Saturday. I heard rumors of 15 b/c. I counted somewhere around 28 bolts. It is truly the sickest looking climb I have seen anywhere.

Jumbo Love is awful damn impressive too, still unrepeated & definitely ahead of its time. Damn that crag is so bad ass. Tommy's routes at Fortress of Solitude too...

Anyway good luck Adam... way to get after it man!!

I'll have to second everything Brent wrote. The Bronaugh Wall project looks significantly harder than anything else. The longer you climb the more desensitized you get to crazy hard climbs. This thing made me feel like I was staring at 5.14 10 years ago when I first started climbing.
