So, I casually wake up at noon and take a shower preparing to go by books at USI for my classes this fall. I walk out to my truck, unlock it and I'm like "hmm, my seat is raised up." It is then I notice my dash is smashed and radio gone and freakin speaker box gone, and amp gone... The fuckers slipped through my back glass with a knife, then ripped apart my dash and thrashed out my cd player, then raised up my seats and cut the wires to my amp witch was attached to my box with speakers... They left all my cool shit like crossovers, power wire, they even cut my rca jacks that were neon purple. Anything that was screwed on or bolted down they left.

I call the police... as soon as they arrive (a half an hour later) some chick runs up "my cars been broken into! my cars been broken into!" and I'm all like "step in line".

So come to find out, some dick heads hit up my whole apartment complex, broke into 6 or 7 cars. The worst part about all this is that I have to drive down to rocktoberfest without any music.

Holy crapola dude!!! That's just F'd up. Remember our trip down to Kings Bluff? I was shocked when you said you never had any problems because it just didn't coincide with the trend in Evansville. If you have a radio you're on the theft list and it's just a matter of time around here. It's kind of interesting that it would happen right at the start of school. Probably some punks who just arrived at school and needed some dope money to start the semester off right. Hope you told your insurance company about all the equipment and got a supplement for it otherwise most companies won't replace non-factory equipment. Hope they catch the F'ers, but highly doubtfull.

Yeh dude... no insurance money. I only have liability on my truck. But look at it... it is a 92 ranger with the paint faiding. Who the hell would break into my truck? My cd player was shoved into my dash by me a while back... somebody I know broke into my shit. It was planned. The other vehicles that were jacked included a girl who's door does not lock properly and a guy who has a jeep with only a soft top on it. My shit was locked... the slid through the back glass. These fuckers know what I had in there otherwise they would have overlooked my POS vehicle. I don't go ghetto blastin around town so they wouldn't have known that way.

I'm turning in the cerial numbers on Tuesday. I doubt it will do me any good.
