Partner!

Okay so I don't need a partner right now, but I will in May. Currently in Southern Afghanistan with the US Army, I grew up about 40 miles east of Slade and I dragged my buddies camping and hiking through the gorge a lot growing up. Last year I was sent to Army Mountaineer School in Jericho, VT and we climbed a great deal in Mount Mansfield but mostly top rope stuff with emphasis on rescue and military tactics. Our instructors took some of us better climbers in the school out and showed us about trad climbing and I was hooked. Finished school, headed back to Ft Riley, KS, got some gear and climbed everything from buildings, bridge foundations, even did a little indoor gym. Going on R&R in May and I plan on spending about a week in the area. Hoping to get to know some of the people who frequent the area so I can spend as much time as possible climbing.
