Spring projects

Post by pigsteak »

Since I know only sport climbers have real climbing projects (well maybe boulderers too), let's hear of the spring sends you hope to accomplish after all that sweaty sack indoor climbing.

For me, it will be sending my long standing project at A6 called Tight Like That. Being vert to slab, it stayed wet for what seemed like most of 2011. Thank goodness I used SS glueins on it.
Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.

Hopefully catch up on all the new routes here and there and send some of the lines at the Hive. It'll be interesting to see how the Spring goes though after taking so much healing time off. I might be projecting the 10s at Chocolate Factory.

I have 19 climbs that are on my tick list. Some should go quickly, others not so much. Climbs that get me syked for spring include Soul Ram, Mercy, Steel Worker and Bull Fighter. I am just glad Dec didn't suck like last year. Oh, and looking forward to checking out some of the new stuff.

Lol... Crackin' me up Pig...

I may not qualify as a "real" climber, but I plan to bust my butt in my basement sanctuary, solo, and then work Burden of Dreams & Inhibitor this Spring. Oh! And then there's a line I bolted called Blue Angel that is along the lines of a Lee Smith sport project, at my limit, and with each go I get about a quarter of a move further. Gotta love the dance! And perseverance will pay dividends (you know about dividends, right Pig?).
Pick myself up, stop lookin' back.

I have a really outstanding project I bolted at Brightside that is going to be really hard for me. Good thing the route is always dry so I could use Powers bolts.

You better do it because I really wanted that line. Its beautiful. I had to settle for its ugly stepsister neighbor instead.(different route than my project which is actually good)
