LK Day should weigh in

I've been entertaining myself by following the circus that is the republican primary race, and I realized that I hadn't seen anything from the resident rrc.com conservative LK day.

So what's your take on the current field?

Ain't that impressed. But under the current administration the Navy was just forced to buy 450,000 gallons of biofuels from an Obama connected firm at $16/gallon. The most corrupt administration - ever! I don't think that's what those who voted for a "new green energy future" had in mind. We really could use some ethical leadership in this country. We may not be able to endure another four years of kleptocratic rule, Democrat or Republican.

Have you already forgotten all the Bush/McCain connection contracts in Iraq/Afghanistan?

I think that the only difference between the Democrats and the Republicans is who they blame when they are stealing your money.

I myself come down on the side of anarchy. I mean that in the most armed sort of way. Not the rioting in the streets sort of way. But I think that we should be able to stand on our own two feet and take care of our own. Not have the nanny state or the capitalists running the show. Every man a king!

I am old enough to remember 80's Reagonites trying to justify $80, gov't-bought hammers too. Don't think your "most corrupt ever" statement holds much water. Red or Blue, we're getting robbed either way. Haliburton's many transgressions don't paint the previous administration in any better light.

Oh, it's not the inside deals that makes this the administration the most corrupt. It's their out and out assault on liberty that earns them that distinction.

assault on liberty??? haha.

patriot act. overseas detention in shadowy cia facilities. the suspension of habeas corpus. trial by military tribunal instead of civilian jury.

does having to pay for healthcare really measure up to all that?

I'm for less government micro management also but organized anarchy is just a contradiction of terms. And armed? Every man wouldn't be king. Just the one with the most ammo.
