Coolest Crack

Post by JR »

I saw the coolest crack this weekend. Have you guys seen the crack that is on the belly of the sky bridge?! It is freakin rad looking. I could be wrong but it looks like you could climb about half way out the arch before it peters out.

Yea, that's a nice looking roof crack. Too bad it's illegal to climb on arches.

Hey didn't folks use to aid out that thing back in the day? Johnny...Larry...anyone have any good stories from under the arch?
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

Yeah, many moons ago I aided up the thing as a joke and hung some kind of gear (small hex?) as close to the end as possible. I hung around for a while watching tourist gawk at it. About a decade later it was gone (which is good).

About how many years before that thing is officially not an arch? Don't all arches eventually give up. That would be really cool because then you might be able to top it out.
