Hey for all you guys that drive down to rocktown. Thought you might want to be updated about whats going on down here in TN, GA area.

Rock Town will be OFF-LIMITS to all us peacenik, vegan, tree huggin' pebble wrestlers on the following dates in Autumn (Never Fall) 2011:
Oct. 22-23
Nov. 10-12
Dec. 7-10
Beginning January 1, 2012, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will require recreational users of Wildlife Management Area (WMA) lands to carry a permit. The popular boulderfield at Rocktown and the cliffline of Lost Wall are a part of the Crockford-Pigeon Mountain WMA and are, therefore, covered by the new permit requirement.
Permits will be $19 per year and available for purchase on the DNR website: www.georgiawildlife.com Users will be required to have a copy of their permit with them when on WMA lands.
Individual 3-Day GORP: $3.50
Individual Annual GORP: $19.00
Small Group 3-Day GORP: $10.00
Small Group Annual GORP: $35.00
