5.15 in the Red?

Recent R&I, in the "No Spain, No Gain" article states there are more 5.15's in the small area covered than in all of North America. Not that I will ever be climbing anything close, but it made me curious. It seems such hard climbs are partly made because of the level of climbers in a given place. So step up local equippers and hard climbers - are there any 5.15's in the Red? Does the rock type not allow it or do we just not have anyone with the vision and strength? Not that it matters anyway. I will continue my weak sauce routes.

You're all gonna climb out everything at the Lode someday. THEN where are you gonna go? The old spraylord's home?

the hard folks need to work as hard on access issues as they do on training and projecting, the routes are there they just need to be created...

Those grades will be much harder to come by at the red because of the rock hardness. It's still possible, but they will be few and far between I think.

The exact same thing was said about the 5.14 grade before there were 5.14's in the Red. There will be 5.15's in the Red when climbers with the motivation, imagination, and grip strength decide to bolt and climb them
