Need Guide/ Instructor
Need Guide/ Instructor
My co-workers and I are backcountry ranger interns with the FS this summer, and we would like to learn how to climb safely before attempting to go out on our own. We live in Stanton, and can meet after 5 most days of the week. There are three of us, and we have shoes, harnesses, a rope, and a belay device. My co-workers are from Wisconsin and Texas, and would like to take advantage of living so close to the RRG this summer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Call or text Chase: (859)7976691 or email me at chclar2@uky.edu

Really great job seeking out instruction first. You are already WAY ahead of the game in making that decision. As Bob suggested, redriveroutdoors.com is the way to go. Not only will you be getting top notch instruction on safety, ethics and technique, but you will be hanging out with people that are shaping the RRG.
Be safe and see you out there.

Can't we all just get along?
