As Gretchen has posted, this year's Adopt-A-Crag day will be September 6, at Military Wall, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. Food and complimentary "gifts" will be provided to all volunteers. Tools will also be provided, but we can always use more. Feel free to bring hand tools, especially--hand saws, hammers, hand axes, small sledge hammers or hand mallet--and your own gloves and water. We meet up at the Military Wall parking area...aka Martin Fork parking area...at 10:00 pick up tools and head up to the crag.
The Stanton District is pleased to have this year's project be a return visit to Military Wall since it is so popular and sustains heavy trafiic. We will be working primarily at the Gung Ho and the Sunshine/Moonbeam areas.
Hope to see LOTS of climber volunteers...these projects are a blast and we all have a great time!!! This year we're trying to break the record for the most volunteers...so bring a friend:)

Is anyone going to register the event with Access Fund?

Is there an age limit? I've got a 13 yo son who goes to the Red with me to climb. I figure if he can climb there, he can certainly help in an event like this.

GWG, no age limit. I brought my 11-year-old neice out to help with Roadside last year. She worked her little fanny off!

I am going to put out flyers at the climbing wall at UK and try to talk to as many people as I can. I know I can get at least 4or 5 people to come.
