This post is to recognize Charlie Rittenberry and Stephanie Meadows for their outstanding contributions to the Red River Gorge climbing community as members of the RRGCC Board of Directors. Both stepped down from the BOD earlier this year. For those who don’t know, Charlie moved to North Carolina for a new job and Stephanie is back in school. Charlie was instrumental in taking Rocktoberfest to the next level with RocTrip and building on the momentum in subsequent years. Charlie then became leader of the RRGCC after Dr. Bob retired from the BOD. Stephanie was also instrumental in promoting Rocktoberfest, overseeing magazine ad and tee shirt artwork. She also worked hard to further the education mission of the RRGCC, redoing kiosks and developing emergency information. We couldn’t have gotten to where we are without you and will be hard pressed to replace your dedication, talents and enthusiasm. Thank you very much for your service! - Bill

THANKS CHUCK!!!! what an amazing job you've done. i know you've moved on to some great opportunities - but i hope you'll still come back and party with your Kentucky friends at Rocktoberfest!!!

Stephanie - you are AWESOME!!! Thank you for all the work that you are continuing to do even though you're no longer on the board. What a great example that a title is not needed to continue help the RRGCC
