"Gecko Circus" open project

Post by goodguy »

I finally finished bolting this line near the Gold Coast. It is about 6 feet to the left of Calming Curtis, and I would love to get some people on this thing and get a grade. 7 bolts 75ft. I've left the draws in place. I know there are plenty of climbers who would love to get on a nice fresh route for the FA. So step up. I've already cleaned and ticked it nicely as well, so don't worry, just someone send it ...... PLEASE.
Oh man, he is messing that up. However, he is missing his left leg so that way would probably be harder for him. SCIN, just before spraying some beta for a climber doing a route the WRONG way.

As a matter of fact they can. But it would be nice if they were left there until someone really does send it clean. If you can't already tell, I have my doubts as to whether or not theres anyone on this board who has what it takes to do this thing clean. (just a little motivation)

Try it. I would love to see it go, Im sure it will, and it really is a fun line. I just don't think it would be right to put a red tag on this thing and not be able to even get down to the red more than once a month at best. It would take forever, and that is totally un-called for.

if someone does send it, I hope they will return your draws to you. If you don't want or need them back, perhaps they could donate them to the gear sale!

Its hard to say, it is such a different style of climbing from what you normally see in the Red. Its dead vertical, and thin. Its probably 5.12 something. I tried it on TR and there was only 1 sequence I couldn't do. As for the draws going to the gear sale, that sounds fine to me.

No. This route is 6ft to the Left of Calming Curtis. On another note, there is a new bolt line just right of Maizy Dance. About 11a. Cool moves, sharp rock.
