Nope, I understood the climber jargon just fine- There used to be a post left by a bot in this thread that was scanning text and leaving semi-plausible replies with links to sketchy sites. It has since been deleted by one of our upstanding mods...
Anyways, is the booty still there?

Hey Ed, where did you bail from? Where was the other gear you saw?
I had almost forgotten about the Dancin Outlaw! So, I resulted to the photo archives.
There was some varied climbing in there. Some straight-forward clean aid, then some nailing and hooking. There was an awkward slot that I think I negotiated on beaks. Mostly I remember the Vespid Ceiling, near the top, which was teeming with wasps. Seemed like hundreds, if not thousands of them. It was a cool day when I was there, so the wasps were fortunately not so active. So, if some of the bail gear you saw was directly under the big roof near the top, that could be a result of the wasps, which are probably still living in that crack.
looking into the upper half of the pitch.

it was steep up there
Come to think of it, this would be a cool free-climbing project... if it weren't for the bees! Good luck getting your booty back, Sir.
