Crazy wind on Saturday?

Saturday I watched the radar on the news to see that lots of tornado-potential was sweeping right over the RRG on the Daniel Boone. A tornado or two were later confirmed in Wolfe Co.....
.. Was anyone climbing out at Military or thereabouts to experience anything crazy? Anyone lose their dogs? Get hit by hail while climbing? I bet it was cool.

I was mid-FA on a stellar 11+ when that storm came through... wild gales, sideways rain, thunder like a shotgun blast to the head--it was crazy!! Got to the last bolt, crux of the route, and the anchor + last 8' of climbing turned into a waterfall... just enough semi-dry holds to finish it off, super exciting!! Didn't know there were tornados too... man, I am always afraid of that happening while mid-route.
This leads to some good potential route names..."Severe Storm Warning"..."Tornado Watch"... etc. Any other suggestions??

We were at fortress, definitely pretty crazy seeing that roll in. Just a wall of rain/wind that you could hear whipping up the valley with a kinda ominous green color to the storm, a family with a weather radio heard the tornado warning and packed up and left. We were back climbing within a half hour and the sun even came out towards the end.

We were at Sunnyside, and we were luck enough to have an overhang to shelter under. I had just finished a route when it really started to come down. Some of us ended up taking shelter under the cave/tunnel when it was bad. I'm glad we were there, that came in handy. After the sky cleared up, we made it over to Bruise and got some semi-dry climbing in. Not a bad day, rain withdstanding.

heh, meanwhile everyone who lives in the area was being advised to 'seek shelter immediately, stay away from windows'
