Stolen gear

My pack was stolen from my car last night in Louisville as it sat in my driveway. If you see someone sketchy selling used climbing gear let me know:
Granite gear pack
Green sterling rope
Arcteryx harness and chalk bag
Grigri
13 draws
ATC, slings, lockers, cord
Misc small stuff (3rd edition guidebook, knife, etc)

Ben there about two years ago. Check pawn shops in your area or used sports gear shops. I also called rocksport and hesters in case some obviously clueless person showed up with my stuff. The worst is that it will probably just end up in a dumpster. I ended up making a claim on our car insurance and since we had a replacement clause after our $500 deductible, I was able to basically go to REI and buy back everything I had before and get reimbursed -500. It worked pretty well because I got a nice dividend too after the year was over.

Sucks though man, Hope you have better luck finding your stuff than me!

Yeah, I expect the odds of my recovering anything are quite low. Really my biggest hope is that they somehow catch the guy, and that he gets a nice fat charge of grand theft for what to him was just a pile of crap worth a few bucks.
