Howdy all,
So I'm on the search for new climbing shoes, and I've run into a small issue. I've always bought my shoes at Miggy's, but alas, I live in Philly now. REI has a crazy small collection, and I don't wanna order them from the internet just yet, because I want to try them on. Anyone have any idea of a nice climbing store within driving distance of Philly? I've heard of Rock and Snow in New Palt, NY, but that's 3 hours away.

North Summit Climbing Gym in Wind Gap PA carries Evolv, 5-10, La Sportiva, and maybe some others.

Did you get the shoes you were trying on?

You might try zappos.com... moderate selection of climbing shoes, can't really vouch for price in comparison to other places, but they have free shipping both ways. When I've bought new shoes, I've ordered a few pairs, tried them on at home and sent back the ones that didn't work. It's a pretty nice set up, and worst case you don't like anything you've tried on and you send them all back. Oh, and I've had really good luck with the REI scratch n dent sales (finding cheap returned rock shoes and then getting them resoled). Hope that helps!

Thanks for the advice. North Summit had a great selection (bought some new anasazi's, woo!). But I am always looking for new shoes and deals, so I'll give zappos a gander (never thought of looking there for climbing shoes).

I am actually a fan of zappos.com. It's nice because you can have it ship as opposed to having to travel long distances to get to a physical store that specializes in climbing shoes. I have a pretty bad ankle injury. Does anyone know of any good sites I could get ankle braces that are good enough to where I could keep climbing? Thanks
