I sure hope Assange manages to stay alive for a few more years. This stuff is getting juicy.

fuk that guy. If I had the chance, I'd put a hole in him myself.

wait. so you want transparency and direct governance for the climbing coalition but not for the federal government? is it an issue of scale or just knee-jerk jingoism?

I am all for transparency, but AFAIK there is plenty of stuff in here that simply does not need to be aired. For example, foreign countries make statements about their own policies or intents and US politicians discuss among themselves whether they believe it or not. The end decision is important, but those discussions do not need to be aired. It is the equivalent of your wife asking, "does this make me look fat?" Of course, your answer is important, but airing all the thoughts that occur before you answer will get you killed. Joking aside, unless someone goes through this information and redacts some of these bits, there is a real possibility of someone getting killed. It does not look like anyone took the care to do this.

So do you think that guy has any interest in the truth? To what ends? The only thing he is interested is hurting America and American interests. It used to be that Americans believed in America and they supported their goverment and their way of life. It seems that there are people whos sole intention is to tear America down. The colleges are rife with prof. who teach their students to hate America and Capitalism and to hate people who believe that America is the greatest nation that has ever been. oh yeah, one more thing while I'm on my soapbox. You should address him proper....President Bush. Not Bush. Thats improper. It shows a lack of respect for the office and for yourself.

I love how he leaks all this shit, then I see on the news he has an interview on skype with his voice disguised, and this morning I see a report about how he's hiding and no one can find him. Way to be open and transparent.

Hopefully college and professors are teaching students to be critical thinkers not mindless drones who believe everything this country does is in the best interest of their citizens. How can you mindless believe in America? Take for example that fact that our Congress/House will get absolutely done in the next two weeks and all because they have their own political futures in mind, NOT what's best for America.

As far as wikileaks...it's a matter of "can you handle the truth"? Some things are better left hidden for the benefit of the greater good. At least that is how "they" justify it.
