I have the distinct pleasure to announce to all that I am THE FIRST person to ever belay someone on their 1000th send in the RRG.
Matters of importance include: i used a gri gri, a 10.2 Mammut, and C U belay glasses.
Matters of non-importance: The climber was Blake and the route was Appalachian Spring.
I would appreciate more respect from the climbing community for what I have accomplished.
Thank you,
lee

Nice work Lee!
I heard Blake thought it felt like 11d. (dare I say "at best")
Way to suck Blake!!

You must be proud, Lee.
Re: RRG First
Great work Lee, you too Blake, also congrats on sending Apallachian Spring in one go!
Re: RRG First
Lee, I have never been more motivated by anyone in my life. Thank you, thank you for this
How you compare may not be as important as to whom you are compared
Re: RRG First
Lee, you are an inspiration to us all. I do say, it would have been cooler if you had someone else spray about your belaying accomplishments, but congrats anyway.
